Visualization feature

Since SUMA 3.1, you can visualize your systems from different topologies. If you go under Systems > Visualization you will find three pages:

  • Virtualization Hierarchy
  • Proxy Hierarchy
  • Systems Grouping

The feature allows to search, filter and partition systems by name, base channel, check-in date, etc.

Virtualization Hierarchy

This is a graphic representation tree of the virtual network hierarchy of the systems registered in SUSE Manager.

All nodes and leaves of the tree are selectable by clicking on them: on click, a detail box with info will be displayed on top-right of the section.

Add systems to SSM

Systems shown in the visualization view can be added to SSM in two ways:

  • singularly selecting one by one and clicking on the Add system to SSM button in the top-right detail box
  • adding all visible systems in the view (visible means after filters are applied) clicking on the Add tree to SSM button at the bottom of the filters section
